Jamie O’Neal strikes emotional gold With new single “All The Same”

Jamie O'Neal is bravely moving on to the next part of her music career with "All The Same," the first single from her next album, "Gypsum," which will come out on January 23, 2026. This new song is the third release from the project, after "Slippery Slope" and "Ole Heartache." It shows the Australian-American country artist at her most raw, resonant, and polished.

"All The Same" was written by Nashville legends Dean Dillon and Scotty Emerick and produced by O'Neal and Rodney Good. The song starts right at the moment when a relationship reaches its breaking point, the point when both people know that love, effort, and history can't hide the pain they've become. It's a theme as old as country music, but O'Neal gives it new life with a voice that is honest and determined.

The song first aired on WSM-AM's Coffee, Country & Cody, giving listeners a sneak peek at the emotional journey "Gypsum" is about to take. O'Neal has said that the song grabbed her right away and that she could relate to its story of letting go when holding on hurts too much. Her gut is right, this song feels both timeless and very real right now.

“All The Same” also reflects a confident return for O’Neal, who hasn’t released a non-holiday studio album since 2020’s "Sometimes". The six-year wait has made her artistic voice stronger instead of weaker. The single not only stands strong on its own, but it also makes people want to hear what "Gypsum" will do next with its powerful songwriting, careful production, and emotional edge.
