9 o'clock Nasty spin a wild spell with "Love In The Circle"

In true iconoclastic fashion, 9 o'clock Nasty are back with "Love In The Circle," a track that doesn't just blur genre lines, it grinds them into dust under a boot full of swagger. The Leicester-based trio channel the anarchic spirit of The Beastie Boys with a punkish grin, spitting bars over old-school hip-hop beats while weaving in a UK indie edge that would make Kasabian raise a pint in approval. Call-and-response vocals drive the chaos, bouncing between subversive snark and surprising sincerity.

"How can you remain horny yet righteous?" is the existential crisis at the center of this madness. The verses are cheeky, sharp, and full of fire, but when the chorus rolls in, it's as if the track exhales, offering a laidback, almost loving groove that shifts the whole mood without losing momentum. By the time the hypnotic chant closes out, you've been spun around in their strange little world, and you're not quite sure how you got there, but you're glad you stayed.

Visually, the accompanying video stitches together gritty, found footage of New York City with surreal cameos from the band, creating a warped urban dreamscape that perfectly complements the sonic palette. "Love In The Circle" marks the third release from their upcoming LP Chaos, and if this is a sign of what's to come, we're all in for a wild, weird, and excellent ride. 9 o'clock Nasty have been turning heads since 2022, and this latest offering reminds us why: they ask the kind of questions that sound absurd until they're genius.
