CATTY turns heartache into a thrilling promise with "Make You Love Me"

London's alt-pop rising star CATTY shares her new single "Make You Love Me", the last single before the release of her eagerly-awaited sophomore EP "Bracing For Impact" due October 24, 2025, via AWAL. After a string of emotionally charged singles such as "4 am (Back In His Bed)", "Prized Possession", and "Joyride", the latest single from CATTY sees her once again solidify herself as an artist with a talent for handling openness through captivating storytelling.

"Make You Love Me" is a lesson in the careful line between rose-tinted optimism and the deafening intensity of unrelenting desire. Co-written with Juliette Edward and the producer Nathan Challinor, the song throbs with a thunderous urgency that reflects the push-pull of yearning and dedication. From its very first note, the song encases you in a velvety alt-pop soundworld that's at once intimate and bombastic. It ensures that every lyric lands with as much emotional weight as humanly possible.

CATTY's vocals are both precious and uncompromising, carrying the song's theme of intense love. The lines are blurred between the desperate and the hopeful, and it's a tension you can feel but want all of. There's a slightly slippery but still undeniable optimism woven throughout the production, which leaves the listener with the sense that even in fixating fear, there is beauty, and maybe even possibility.
