The Bros. Landreth and Bonnie Raitt pack an emotional punch on new single "Knuckles"

Canadian alt-rock storytellers The Bros. Landreth are backed by none other than Bonnie Raitt on their new single "Knuckles". For those who love raw, heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting, this track is a tutorial in honesty. "Knuckles" becomes an intensely introspective examination of love, loss, and tiny sacrifices that often get lost in relationships between two people. That sensibility laces the song's lyrical and musical moods, giving it a meeting point that feels just as tender and unflinching.

The Bonnie Raitt feature introduces a textured depth to the track as well. Although the two previously collaborated in 2022 by covering a Grammy Award–winning version of "Made Up Mind," released by Landreth, "Knuckles" is the first time Bryant and Landreth have shared studio space for an original composition. The results are breathtaking, Raitt's Roadocratic slide-guitar wail and gravelly bray tangle perfectly with him, as does David Landreth's subtle bass motion.

Co-written by Dave Landreth, Joey Landreth, and Roman Clarke, with production from Murray Pulver, "Knuckles" is a preview of what's sure to be a captivating fourth full-length album, "Dog Ear", due November 14, 2025, via Birthday Cake Records. Raw, heartfelt, and unapologetic about the gritty truths of love, this song establishes that The Bros. Landreth are known as contemporary storytellers unafraid of the truth.
