Fickle Friends sparks with indie pop anthem "Joe"

Brighton indie pop sweethearts Fickle Friends are back, bringing the airwaves to life with their brand-new release, "Joe". The new song is the sixth taste of their upcoming self-titled third LP, which drops November 7 through their own Palmeira Music. After a three-year break since "Are We Gonna Be Alright?". The group returns with the same energy and cognitive wit/wisdom that made them an indie staple in Britain.

Written and produced exclusively by the band, "Joe" plunges headfirst into the new-love emotional rollercoaster that is a swooning cocktail of passion, doubt, and thrill that turns the most ordered hearts into pleasing disasters. It's that rush when everything feels electric, but your brain won't stop whispering that it's too good to be true.

The track, musically, is everything we've come to adore about Fickle Friends, huge and jittery but still undeniably catchy. It's an anthem for neurotics and idealists, for bleeding hearts who also love a good time, a song that rides the thin line between bliss and disorder, articulating what it feels like to fall in love with someone whose power over you you can't quite find your footing without.

"Joe" is a reminder that Fickle Friends are the masters of transforming emotional turmoil into sparkling pop perfection. With every single leading up to the release of its new album, the band has evolved without compromising its infectious, heart-on-sleeve sound.
