Henry Moodie takes on chaos and clarity in "Mood Swings"

Henry Moodie is back again with the perfect blend of raw emotion and brutal honesty in his new single, "Mood Swings," as a preview to his upcoming debut album, "Mood Swings," set for release on October 24. Written with Charlie Martin and Joe Housley, and produced by The Nocturns and Sarcastic Sounds, "mood swings" is a bittersweet anthem for anyone who's ever been stuck between highs and lows.

Constructed around Moodie's plaintive vocals and a production that glows then swells into cinematic magnificence, the track encapsulates the tumult of young adulthood, the confusion, beauty, and silent fortitude gained by simply holding on.

The single is the fourth to be taken from the forthcoming album, following the release of three songs, including "Indigo," "Comedown," and "Sunday Morning," which were previously released. Combined, these songs sketch out the emotional landscape of "Mood Swings," a 14-track body of work that seamlessly navigates heartbreak and self-discovery. The album will also revisit fan favorites from his early EPs, "In All of My Lonely Nights" and "Good Old Days." "Mood swings" doesn't attempt to solve for the feeling, but it just names it. It's reassuring in its openness, an open invitation to feel seen.
